2025 SMMC Fleet Safety Awards Banquet

The SMMC's annual Fleet Safety Awards Banquet honors Alabama trucking fleets with the best accident frequency rate for the previous year. Categories are segregated by operation type and number of miles traveled. In addition, several individuals will be singled out for career safety excellence, including Driver of the Year, Maintenance Professional of the Year, Safety Professional of the Year, and Fleet Manager of the Year. Likewise, the ATA Comp Fund will recognize its top performing members for loss control and safety performance.
